When it comes to lighting, my family thinks I am a little nuts. While no one questions the need for lights in our home, at school, work, etc., they find my passion, okay obsession with identifying Rejuvenation lights out in the world a little nutty. A trip to the mall, or to the movies can turn into finger pointing and calling out fixture names as I point out our lights at retail stores, restaurants and in movie scenes.
Fortunately, my family has grown accustom to my obsession and even manages support me in it from time to time like when my 10 year old daughter brought home one of those “tween” magazines provided by a classmate. I kept resisting her attempts to share what was in the magazine with me until she mentioned “lights”. I glanced over, and there in the photo of Victoria Jackson holding cupcakes in the Magnolia Bakery in New York City were our Rose City lights with painted opal shades.
She looked at me with a smile and said, “Rejuvenation, right?”
I’ve trained them well.
