Blue Pointe: Taking a Cue from History

In mid-to-late April we will be launching a new billiard fixture named the Blue Point. It is a reproduction of Model 3164 Billiard Electrolier offered by the Gibson Gas Fixture Company of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from 1905 to 1910.

 Blue Pointe

We weren’t looking for a billiard light when we stumbled upon this fixture, but as soon as saw it; we knew the look was perfect. Simple and refined details complement the utilitarian aspects of this large and hardworking light. We especially loved the oversized clamshell shades with their parabolic shape which were originally designed to evenly light large billiard tables. Ours will still do a great job of lighting your pool table, but we think it will look great over a large dining or community table or a large kitchen island as well.

The fixture itself will come in our standard brass finishes which you can pair with any of the 5 enameled paint colors we will offer on the shades. Check back to our web site in mid-April, or look for it on the cover of our next catalogue.
