Portland, Oregon – Where Artisan Lighting and Artisan Baked Goods Meet

One of the many wonderful things about Portland is that you’re never far from quality food. In particular, the city has numerous scratch bakeries – several of which I am on way too familiar terms.  (Location scouting does tend to work up one’s appetite). And to ice the cake, in a few you’ll find our fixtures.

Take Ken’s Artisan Bakery, for example. I’m happy to report our fixtures are installed throughout this charming bakery café. Personally, I can’t think of a better way to pass a drizzly Portland afternoon than basking under the warm glow of our Sherwood  wall bracket, complete with a lovely art glass shade (pictured), while munching on a freshly baked treat. (I highly recommend the espresso-flavored meringue cookies).

Another establishment near and dear to my heart is Grand Central Bakery – a location that actually did make it into one of our catalogues. You can learn more about that here.

In my humble opinion, there’s no better place to enjoy a latte and a jammer (raspberry, please) than under our Skyports suspended over the community table at their N. Fremont location. I like to think of these lights as streamlined spaceships on a goodwill mission to deliver cookies and scones to faraway galaxies.

This isn’t the last time you’ll see our fixtures hanging out with good food, so stay tuned.
