I’ll send you a picture via email. The glass for the Claremont sereis was called “Champagne” and it was created from slumped sheet glass fired with amber frit on the surface to create a sparkling textured treatment.

The bad news is that this is not a type of glass that you could probably have reproduced, and it is quite rare as an original.

The good news is that it was broken fairly easily, thus there are probably plenty of Claremonts in garages and basements and attics out there with only 3 or 4 or the original shades – meaning someone might willingly part with one. Searching for Lightolier fixtures – they were often marked – on eBay is probably your best bet.

Unfortunately I am missing ONE of the rays. If you could help me locate an original glass replacement or could refer me to someone who is capable of making a near exact copy I would be most grateful to you.
